"Really didn't expect this to work, but I was pleasantly surprised. To briefly explain, we bought solar in early 2022. About a month after we had it installed, the system wasn't working, and when we called for the service, they promised I found out they went bankrupt and out of business. I had called Dividend (the finance company) to find out what I could do and was told, "We just take your payments". So instead of having solar that eliminated my entire electric bill (they actually told me my panels would make enough to get a check back every month from my electric company), I now had an electric bill that was higher than it was before because the panels didn't work at all and a $300+ monthly payment. In 2024 (fall, maybe Sept/Oct), I started talking with Pioneer about how they could help. I found out quite a bit in the time I talked with Brandy about how many people were in my situation, and it made sense to go forward with trying to cancel the payment contract with Dividend. Lo and behold, I woke up the day after Christmas to Dividend cancelling the remainder of my contract if I agreed not to pursue arbitration. While I was hopeful to get some money back, in the end, I am free of an $80,000+ burden, the lien on my house is gone, and my credit score is back to where it should be. Glad I let Pioneer handle this for me, it really was worth the time and cost."
