Spencer Rowell - Co-Owner/Founder

Founded on more than three decades of experience in sales and upper sales management, our company is built by a leader who has spent a lifetime helping customers make confident, informed decisions. With a deep passion for renewable energy technology, we bring a wealth of hands-on knowledge from selling solar solutions across the United States — from New Jersey to Oregon and Texas to Michigan — as well as contributing to multi-megawatt solar installations throughout Africa.

Our roots run beyond business. With a background in community outreach and a strong commitment to service, we believe every homeowner deserves honesty, transparency, and reliable guidance when exploring solar. Our mission is driven by two core goals: to empower homeowners with trustworthy, effective solar solutions and to champion professionalism and future regulation within the solar industry to help eliminate fraud and protect consumers.

Grounded by family values and inspired by a love for the outdoors, we approach our work with integrity, purpose, and passion. From boating and off-road adventures to time spent with children, grandchildren, and extended family across Tennessee and Michigan, our founder brings a real-world understanding of what home means — and why energy independence matters.

Our company stands for doing the right thing, educating customers, and raising the standards of an industry we love. We're here to help homeowners take control of their energy future with confidence, clarity, and trust.

Brittany Pelan

My name is Brittany. I am a mom of three. I love to spend my weekends on whatever the outdoors bring our way. Camping and hiking are our family's favorites. I also love crafting.

With a decade of experience in the solar industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work in nearly every aspect of the field—from door-knocking and in-home sales to proposal writing and customer advocacy. Each step has given me a deeper understanding of both the business and the people it serves.

My journey ultimately led me to the **Solar Exit Program**, where I’ve found my true calling: helping consumers navigate complex solar issues and find real solutions. I genuinely love what I do. Every day gives me the chance to connect with homeowners, make a difference in their lives, and often build lifelong friendships along the way.

For me, it’s about trust, service, and creating positive change one conversation at a time.

Wayne Snyder

Wayne Snyder has made a career of being customer and results-focused. After almost 15 years of owning a customer-driven business helping families alleviate the stress of bad contracts, a transition into helping people find freedom from bad solar contracts was a natural transition.

Not only is Wayne a passionate advocate for solar owners who have been misled into bad contracts, but he is also the disappointed owner of “rooftop ornaments” that produced no return. Wayne began his journey alleviating his payments from a bad solar contract with our director over 4 years ago, and has been through the depths of frustration that many owners are experiencing, to the joy of release and freedom from payments.

Wayne understands the frustration of getting an electric bill that doesn’t reflect the savings promised and dealing with a finance company that doesn’t care and doesn’t accept the responsibility they have when an installer disappears and goes bankrupt. With a unique understanding of navigating not only the mechanics of getting out of a contract but the frustration of actually living through a bad contract, Wayne can help you and empathize through the situation from start to finish.

Nate Strand

Nate is an accomplished attorney with a primary focus on contract litigation, commercial disputes, and strategic conflict resolution. Since 2011, he has represented clients in complex matters involving breach of contract, fraudulent inducement, non-performance, business partnership disputes, and high-value civil claims. His practice is built on clear communication, meticulous analysis, and a commitment to protecting his clients’ rights.

With more than a decade of legal experience, Nate approaches every case with the goal of efficiently resolving disputes while positioning clients for long-term success. Whether negotiating a settlement or preparing for trial, he is known for his disciplined, solution-oriented litigation style.

In addition to his contract-focused practice, Nate advises clients on select tax matters—including IRS and state audits, back-tax issues, and compliance concerns—and provides legal services in estate planning and other civil matters. This broad background allows him to support clients across both personal and business needs.

A graduate of Tulane University in Louisiana, Nate began his legal career in New Orleans, where he founded his first practice before relocating to New York City in 2013. He is licensed to practice law in New York and California.

Before entering the legal profession, Nate worked as a piano teacher, an experience that continues to influence his patient, thoughtful, and client-centered approach to representation.

Benjamin Monroe

Ben Monroe is a disabled Army veteran and Paralegal at Pioneer Legal Consulting, where he leads solar loan cancellation efforts for over 5,500 affected consumers. With three degrees (two bachelor’s, one associate’s) and eight years as a paralegal, Ben has worked on some of the nation’s largest mass tort cases, including 3M Earplugs, Roundup, Talc, TVM, NFL Concussions, and CPAP, representing thousands against corporate wrongdoing.

After growing frustrated with slow justice in mass torts, Ben entered sales, first roofing, then solar, believing clean energy should be accessible to all. Instead, he uncovered the truth: predatory solar leases trap families in debt with hidden fees, 3.9% escalators, and $7.53/watt pricing - over 3x the national average. Now at Pioneer, Ben drives pre-suit mediation to force lenders like Sunrun and Everbright to cancel loans and refund payments - without lawsuits, without years of delay. His team resolves cases quickly, leveraging TILA violations to deliver real relief.

“I’ve seen corporations profit by hurting people—from coal dust to solar scams. I’m done watching. I fix it.”

Outside work, Ben runs LoreBoundHQ (YouTube) and is writing his debut novel, Sundered Sons.

Ben cannot give legal advice or file motions, but he negotiates settlements faster and cheaper than traditional litigation—because defense attorneys hate paying their own bills.
